Although she was born in Texas, Sydney is a Georgia girl at heart! She moved to Cumming, Georgia at a very young age and has been rooted in the South ever since. She went on to attend The University of Georgia, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While her original plan was to pursue forensic psychology in the FBI, she found her true passion lied in event planning. After college, she decided to fully immerse herself in the event industry by getting her Wedding & Event Planning Certification online through Lovegevity University.

 

Sydney has always described herself as being a creative Type-A girlie with a love for all sorts of art including fashion, graphic design, interior decorating, website design, visual arts, and even furniture flipping! While a member of Gamma Phi Beta in college, she took on the roles of T-Shirt Chair and Banner Chair which involved designing custom t-shirt logos and banner graphics for all sorority events. She also likes to call herself the planner of her friend group, as she is known to go all out in planning parties, birthdays, holiday gatherings, and vacation itineraries!

 

Sydney began working for S&B Atlanta in October 2023, where she started as an Event Assistant and worked her way up to being a Lead Assistant Planner. She has finally found her passion in wedding planning and adores working with bridal clients to make the vision of their big day come to life!
